Overbury has landed one of the biggest office refits doing the rounds in London.

The specialist fit-out arm of Morgan Sindall has secured the extensive modernisation and refit of  1 Embankment Place.

The huge overhaul of the 12-storey landmark Thames building is being driven by owner the Sultan of Brunei and the building’s tenant accountant PwC after an agreement to renew the lease on the building in July.

The 346,000 sq ft office is home to more than 4,000 PwC staff and will be carried out while the building remains in operation.

The job is due to get underway over the Christmas period and run for up to two years.
