Crossrail on hunt for subcontractors
Subcontractors and suppliers looking to win work on the massive £16bn Crossrail project should sign up for an open day in London next month.
Major contractors on the job have linked up with the NSCC to host the ‘Meet the Contractor’ event.
Interested suppliers can hear first-hand about the latest contract opportunities on Crossrail and meet the following tier one contractors on the job:
• BBMV (Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Vinci)
• BFK (Bam Nuttall, Ferrovial, Kier)
• CSJV (Costain, Skanska)
• DSJV (Dragados, John Sisk)
• HMJV (Hochtief, Murphy)
• Morgan Sindall
• Vinci
The event will take place on Wednesday 29 February 2012 at the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton, London, W3 9BQ.
It will begin at 10:30am and include presentations from Andrew Wolstenholme, Crossrail Chief Executive; Martin Rowark, Crossrail Procurement Director; and CompeteFor.
After a networking lunch, there will be ‘one to one’ appointments for specialists to meet directly with the main contractors.
