Client Battersea Power Station Development Company finally signed a £600m contract with Skanska after announcing a deal with the firm last October to rebuild the iconic power station.
Network Rail also revealed Skanska and Bouygues-owned Colas Rail will share a £400m job to redevelop Waterloo station, including the old award-winning Eurostar terminal.
The deals have lifted Skanska to third place in the 12-month rolling new orders league with a total of £1.47bn work, behind top-ranked Kier and second place Balfour Beatty.

Among the other big wins to kick the year off Balfour Beatty with local partner Jones Bros shares a £65.5m bypass project at Caernarfon for the Welsh Assembly.
Laing O’Rourke’s £200m job to build a new hospital in Dumfries has reached financial close and Wates has taken the £180m office project in Paddington for British Land.
Mace also is set to build the £100m Can of Ham office tower in the City of London for TIAA Henderson Real Estate.
