Brookfield Multiplex took third place in the monthly order after securing a £130m job for developer Derwent London to build 54 flats at Charlotte St in central London.
Among other big winners, Galliford Try bagged a £69m mixed development for LCR Developments in Wandsworth and Byrne Group’s fitout subsidiary Chorus secured a £120 residential development to build 36 luxury flats at the former US Navy Headquarters in Grosvenor Square for joint clients Grosvenor Square & Finchatton.
In the rolling 12-month league of contract wins leader Balfour Beatty is battling it out with Laing O’Rourke and Kier with just £140m separating the trio.
Balfour Beatty continues to dominate the pecking order as leading civil engineering contractor, with almost double the work secured of nearest rival Costain.
For Building work secured over the last 12 months Kier leads the way although Mace has started to close the gap with just £66m of orders separating the two.
