The contract, which will run for 15 years is set to deliver major savings for the council through innovative service delivery, including a £2.25m in 2015/16.
Amey will deliver will deliver commercial and domestic waste collections, street cleaning, grounds maintenance, highways services, bridges, road safety, street lighting and furniture, drainage and property services from July 2015.

“Combining these services allows us to support Trafford Council with efficiency savings while ensuring a high quality service is delivered to local residents.”
