This major new initiative, which is in the very earliest stages of formulation, will significantly improve the Club’s spectator facilities.
The plan is to demolish and rebuild the Stagecoach Family Stand on the Well Street side of the ground, and relocate the changing facilities with several improvements to other parts of the ground.
Alongside this an enabling development of up to 320-student rooms with a commercial partner Yelverton Properties will be undertaken on part of the site.
Over the coming months, the club plans will involve discussions with supporters, the Supporters’ Trust, local groups and institutions that have a stake in Exeter City’s success.
Chairman of Exeter City Football Club, Julian Tagg, said: “I am very excited to launch this initiative, which I hope will be a significant step in the long-term prosperity and financial independence of Exeter City Football Club. ”
