A specialist in off-site manufacture, SES has been an early adopter of BIM, using 3D modelling on projects for over 15-years and embedding data into models since 2010.
As strong proponents of process efficiency in construction, SES sees BIM and it’s integrational benefits as key to driving continuous improvement in the delivery of building services which can be challenging and complex.
SES managing director, Mark Perkins, said: “BIM is a major strand of our strategic differentiation and is key in our approach to bringing innovation and flair to all our proposals.
“We look forward to using our certification as a catalyst to becoming more heavily involved in the BIM journeys for all our customers.”
Among the main contractors so far only BAM, Interserve and Skanska have announced they are BIM 2 Certificated.
