The three-year extension to the Urban Vision partnership is worth up to £90m, with Galliford Try expecting revenues of £30m.
Urban Vision was formed in 2005 to provide technical services to Salford City Council in areas including property, regulatory planning, engineering infrastructure, and design and highway operations planning.
Galliford Try’s role in the partnership is to provide highways maintenance services. The framework has now been extended to its full 15-year term which will run until 2020.
The extension comes after the firm secured two new framework places across the north east of England.
Earlier this month it was one of a host of contractors to successfully secure places on several lots for the £1.2bn North East Purchasing Organisation civils framework used by a dozen local authorities in the region.
It has also been appointed to the civil engineering framework operated by South Tyneside Council which is anticipated to generate about £20m of business over its three-year term.
Peter Truscott, chief executive of Galliford Try, said: “These awards demonstrate the breadth and versatility of the service provided by our infrastructure division and, in particular, the strength of our highways and environmental businesses.
“We look forward to working with all the partners involved to make a high quality contribution to the infrastructure of the North West and North East.”
