The 178-bedroom hotel will be built on vacant land at Concorde Road, next to the airport’s main administrative hub in Diamond House.
Warwick-based Hitchman Stone Architects has designed the project on behalf of Jersey-based group Castlebridge Hotels.
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council’s planning committee has approved the project, designed to achieve BREEAM Very Good rating, with work expected to start in the next few months.
It will be the growing airport’s fifth hotel once finished.
