The programme will cover work not delivered by its two Tier 1 partners in the Yorkshire Alliance integrated delivery team, which is presently out to tender for award in April 2019.
The programme is being split into a complex civils framework, worth around £750m over the 2020-2025 AMP7 period, and a minor civil and building works framework expected to account for a pipeline of £290m.
Firms on the complex works panel will deliver one-off civil and structural engineering construction and refurbishment works.
This will cover above or below ground assets on operational treatment, collection or distribution facilities including process treatment and water retaining structures.
Minor work will cover construction of structures below 2m in height, or excavation to depths not exceeding 1.2m and repairs/modifications to existing structures.
Yorkshire Water procurement bosses are aiming to shortlist around six firms to bid for the complex works framework and eight for the minor works race in September.
