Consultant MHBC merges with Cumming

City of London based consultant Mellersh & Harding Building Consultancy LLP (MHBC) has merged with global business Cumming.

MHBC provides a wide range of specialized services from building surveying and full-scale project management to design and building services engineering.

The addition of its 20 staff will boost Cumming’s worldwide workforce to 750 across 31 offices.

Andrew Webster, Antonia Belcher, and Sean Cushing established MHBC in 2007.

Long-standing clients include international real estate investment management firms and retail, hospitality, industrial, and residential owners.

Derek Hutchison, Executive Vice President at Cumming said: “We are delighted to solidify our partnership with MHBC after working alongside them for several years.

“With an outstanding reputation in the UK and a proven track record of consistently adding value to complex projects, this merger will provide our respective clients with even more expert resources to help achieve their development-related goals.”

Antonia Belcher, one of MHBC’s founders, said: “Combining our expertise and resources with Cumming allows us not only to meet the expanded needs of our current clients and grow our client base, but it will also provide new and important growth opportunities for our staff.”
