Details: Design and construction of a new HMP Grampian prison near to the existing HMP Peterhead site. Stage: Plans approved

Details: Piers Gough designed building will range across three heights of 12, 16 and 55 storeys, and include a 217-bedroom four star hotel and 397 flats. It would also feature 160,000 sq ft of office space, a brasserie, coffee shop, branded restaurant and health club.

Details: Four-year framework covers a host of jobs from straightforward building work to asbestos removal, electrical wiring and lift installation. It has been divided up into 14 individual panels, larger contractors turning over more than 10m pounds will be able to bid for the biggest package of work.

Details: A panel of eight contractors to carry out housing new build and refurbishment work in South Wales, worth up to 100m pounds. Another framework will cover schools and other non-residential building work in the region, through which 60m pounds could be spent over the period.
