The company’s engineered products and solutions are promoted to a range of customers and designers within the construction industry.
Technical position within a highly motivated and integrated team of sales and engineering staff. The position is office based, with the possibility of occasion UK travel for site visits, to meet with customers, or short duration international travel for training purposes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in engineering or HND equivalent.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Competence in Office based tools such as Word and Excel.
Understanding of Windows file structures.
Flexibility to adapt to varying types of work that are delegated.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with Autodesk Inventor.
Basic understanding of FEA.
One or two years of work experience within the construction or engineering sectors.
Production of General Arrangement drawings for fabrication, and basic design studies.
Review requirements & communicate proposals to customers and design professionals.
Liaise with the sales teams to support the progress of orders, proposals and enquiries.
Occasional site visits.
Attend team meetings and support colleagues.
Regularly review own performance and ask for help or training when required.
In the fulfilling the above tasks it is expected that over 95% of working time is to be spent in the Thame office.
