We are the largest landlord group in the North East, owning and managing almost 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley. We have plans to build at least 2,000 new homes over the next five years, as well as investing over £100m in improving the homes we manage. Manage a compliance client team with responsibility for ensuring Thirteen has robust delivery plans and well managed contracts across all areas of property compliance, supporting Thirteen in continuing to comply with all statutory regulations, approved codes of practice (ACOP), official guidance standards and best practice.
To have the ability and drive to ensure that KPI’s are consistently reviewed and revised to ensure that contractor performance is maintained to the highest standards. You will have the opportunity to periodically work from home and manage your own diary. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for large regional company in a unique and interesting role.
Working alongside the Compliance Strategy Manager in bringing plans to life and providing associated performance related information as well as working with the Building Safety Manager to ensure high risk and complex buildings are prioritised in terms of delivery programmes and ongoing contract and contractor support
You will be responsible for the delivery of statutory, legislative, and contractual procedures for a diverse domestic portfolio, to deliver and assure the highest levels of compliance. You will be responsible for leading a team to produce accurate management information. You will be able to share best practice and innovations with colleagues in the wider environment, establish and maintain an effective audit regime, to provide governance and deliver an assured service to senior management. Lend support to develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
To succeed you will need to hold a recognised technical qualifications (building related HNC, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE / NEBOSH etc. or proven relevant experience), the ability to interact with senior management and clients and previous experience working within a service contracting environment is desirable.
