About the role:
Currently we are looking employ a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Building Services / M&E background to further strengthen our Design Team in one of our ‘Design Hubs’ in Leeds.
To provide some background NG Bailey is one of the last few remaining UK Building Services contractors to have its own dedicated ‘Design House’. This has enabled us to provide a complete end to service to all our clients where a third party would normally be involved. To continue our success within Building Services design we have established regional design hubs throughout the UK, to provide a more balanced service across the country.
The role will involve supporting the Design Manager in providing a high-quality design service covering all mechanical aspects of a variety of projects from inception through to completion and client handover.
You will assist in all design and build work in collaboration with the contract teams and participate and contribute in design reviews. You will also be afforded the opportunity to be involved with design and technical assessment of tenders, highlighting technical risks and highlighting opportunities.
- To be considered for this role you will have previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer and are likely to have a relevant qualification.
- You will be passionate about delivering the highest standards of design and will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work against tight schedules
