We are seeking a Senior Planner / Planner to work across our Pre-construction, Bid and Construction departments to provide an effective construction programming service at tender and live project stages on complex, mixed use/residential projects with values in excess of £30 million. Responsibilities include:
Tender Stage - Appraisal of tender information, site visits / reports, development (lead) of logistics requirements, development of best value and alternative programmes, develop sequencing / phasing to incorporate enabling requirements, key stages, show flats, handovers, sections etc. , risk evaluation, engagement with tender team, good levels of presentation for programmes / logistics plans / method statements.
Construction Projects – develop detailed programmes for pre-construction, construction and handover phases. Complete site audits on progress, re-schedule master programmes and provide assistance with target / individual trades programmes.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a planning role with either a developer or contractor. You must have experience working on residential projects and be able to work equally well on your own initiative as part of a cross functional team. Excellent communication skills are essential as are the ability to prioritise and effectively balance the needs of multiple projects. You must be proficient with ASTA Power Project programming software and the use of basic design / graphics software to produce logistic plans and sketches. A relevant degree is desirable though not essential.
