Gallions Housing Association, Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association and Newlon Housing Trust are setting up a framework to handle their major projects costing more than £12m.

This will cover urban regeneration projects likely to involve a mix of residential, commercial, leisure, sport, and health over a 4 year period from 2011 to 2015.

The three housing associations have plans for around a dozen major projects, but other associations are waiting in the wings with work plans and are expected to sign up to the framework at a later date.
