VolkerHighways is due to complete the existing framework deal in November after a two-year extension was granted to the original three-year agreement.
The contract has so far developed a strong partnership culture and delivers through two work streams, reactive and programmed works with a mixture of directly employed and supply chain partners.
This time round the council has stressed the contract will not be a framework arrangement.
The contract also includes a break clause provision, which may be applied in year three to allow the council to join a larger regional maintenance agreement. Any annual price adjustments will not include labour cost rises.
Firms have until the 3 February to return PQQs and further information can e obtained from geoffrey.campbell@enfield.gov.uk
