Ian Carr of Grant Thornton UK has been appointed administrator of WWR (UK) and WWR Group, which turned over around £5m a year.
A spokesman at Grant Thornton said: “The companies are continuing to trading in a limited capacity, but are not presently accepting any new work.”
The firm worked throughout southern England and the Midlands on industrial and retail projects and specialised in fitting aluminium roofing systems.
In September last year HSBC refinanced the company with a £30,000 loan and £350,000 overdraft facility, guaranteed by the group’s assets.
