The redevelopment of the station will include a new ticket hall and multi-storey car park, expected to cost around £7m.
Alongside this Solum also aims to build 150 apartments in two blocks of up to 8 storeys and a Waitrose supermarket.
Edward Pearce, development manager at Solum Regeneration, said: “It is widely recognised that the area around Redhill station is in need of investment and improvement.
“This development will radically enhance the station area and create a gateway into the town of which it can be proud and help in regenerating this part of the town centre.”
If the scheme is approved Solum aims to start work in early 2014.
