American main contractor BL Harbert and domestic partner Sir Robert McAlpine selected Bauer for the site preparation work.
Work starts this month with preliminary test piling ahead of the main works starting in August.
Bauer’s work will consist of the construction of a diaphragm wall and deep base-grouted piles with work due to be completed to an extremely tight three month schedule.
The win is Bauer’s latest success on a high-profile projects following work at London Underground’s Tottenham Court Road Station and Crossrail’s Liverpool Street and Whitechapel Stations.
