Constructionline is organising the meet which will give specialists the chance to talk to representatives from Sheffield City Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Trading for Good, the Highways Agency and Vinci Facilities.

Sheffield City Council is specifically looking to set up agreements for roofing and central heating improvement work to its social housing stock.

Aaron Good, Client Relationship Manager, Constructionline, said: “In our experience local councils and other businesses want to give work to SMEs in their area, and in turn contractors are eager to win these tenders, but it’s often challenging for each to gain access to one another.

“This event is designed to offer local construction companies some valuable introductions as well as helping them to learn about upcoming work opportunities, and how they can best win business from buyers on their doorstep.”

The event will run from 8:30am until 3pm and suppliers do not have to be a Constructionline member to attend.
