The latest batch roll-out will cover the south west, north west and yorkshire/ north east region, accounting for a combined annual maintenance spend of up to £170m a year.
The three regions – ASC area 1, area 13 and area 14 – will begin operation from April 2015 and run for five years, with an option to extend for three years.
