Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has selected developer Regal Property Group with Trebor Developments and Interserve Construction to take forward a major mixed-use scheme in the town.

The Vicarage Street development will include building shops, offices, an hotel, replacement library and multi-storey public car park.

The Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Cllr Dennis Harvey, said: “The Vicarage Street development is at an exciting phase as we take this next step towards bringing it to fruition.”

Mark Holbeche, Director of Regal, said: “We are delighted to have been selected for this exciting and prestigious project and look forward to working closely with the local authority partners to bring the development forward.”

The councils will now complete a development agreement with Regal, which will undertake a consultation with stakeholders and the public on its vision for the project prior to a planning application being submitted.
