Fletcher joined Morgan Sindall earlier this month after seven years at O’Rourke where he was operations director for UK infrastructure after a stint as managing director in Ireland.

He is now managing director of civil engineering at Morgan Sindall which will see him take overall responsibility for the company’s infrastructure, tunnelling and utility services businesses.

One industry source said: “He was highly regarded at O’Rourke so they will be disappointed to lose him.”
