Work is due to start on site in early June on the new teaching facility, which will open in August 2015.
The long, 6-storey building will be embedded on one side into a 7m high embankment and is designed by architect Sheppard Robson as a gateway to the University’s Molineux Campus.
Interserve’s Regional Director, Simon Butler, said: “We are looking forward to re-establishing our relationship with the University of Wolverhampton where we were previously involved on the School of Health and Wellbeing project.”
The design team on the 65,000 sq ft project is: Architect: Sheppard Robson; Project Manager & QS: Gardiner & Theobald LLP; Structural, M&E & Acoustic Engineers: Arup.
