Gardiner & Theobald will run the two-stage bid process for the hospital to build a seven-storey building, to be known as the Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children.
The total cost of the 140,000 sq ft project, including research equipment for labs will be around £65m.
It will bring together clinical and research expertise from Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College London, in particular the Institute of Child Health.
Architect Stanton Williams has already been commissioned to design the project. Firms have until 11 July to submit PQQ information. Alistair Lancashire of G&T’s London office is handling documents. Tel: 02072091866.
