Alumet lands £14m brace of London cladding deals

Building envelope specialist Alumet has bagged a brace of central London cladding packages worth £14m.

Alumet has landed the last two blocks at the Berkeley Homes/St James Riverlight complex in Vauxhall, south London in a £9m deal.

Work will start on the latest blocks in early February and last ten months.

The contract is Alumet’s latest win at the Riverlight scheme where the firm is already onsite for an £8.2m cladding deal on another tower.

The Enquirer also understands Alumet has landed a £5m deal for St James to provide the building envelope for its Merano Building on Albert Embankment.

Cladding work is due to start on the site in June 2015.
