Constructionline is hosting the Meet the Buyer event on Thursday October 16.

Alongside Bouygues will be buyers from 23 other organisations including VINCI Construction, University of Brighton and South Essex Procurement Hub.

Exhibitors will explain how they work with smaller suppliers and upcoming construction work in the region available to local SMEs.

Victoria Chamlet, Client Relationship Manager at Constructionline, said: “Firms are increasingly keen to engage with smaller suppliers and this is becoming a requirement on winning public sector work.

“In addition, SME contractors are often well-placed to deliver work programmes on their doorsteps. However, for both groups, getting access to each other has traditionally not been an easy task.

“Events like these are hugely valuable, giving both parties a platform to talk about upcoming opportunities and how they can best work together.”

The event will run from 08:30am until 3pm and suppliers do not have to be a Constructionline member to attend.
