Notting Hill Housing Trust is on the hunt for up to five contractors for a new demolition and enabling works framework deal.

The framework will run from January 2016 with the highest scoring bidder immediately taking the first major stage of the Aylesbury Estate redevelopment at the Elephant and Castle in South London.

NHHT estimates it will spend £150m-£250m through the panel of firms which will be appointed for two years, renewable for another two years.

Site 1 within the Aylesbury regeneration programme received planning permission earlier this year.

The first phase bounded by Albany Road, Bradenham Close, Westmoreland Road and Portland Street consists of around 580 flats in nine buildings ranging in height from three to 15 floors.

Final vacant possession for the buildings on the entire site is expected at the end of July next year with the demolition works programmed to start on 14 January 2016 for the first vacant buildings.
