The latest haul of half a dozen jobs includes a carbon capture facility on Teesside, Wales High School in Sheffield, Tubecon’s biggest bridge job to date in Cambridgeshire, the National Railway Museum and a silicon chip manufacturing facility in Bristol.

Billington has also secured a London data centre scheme for an existing client on the Telehouse campus in East London, with several of the contracts running through 2026 and into 2027.

The spread of wins gives the group another solid pipeline across growth markets where steel demand remains strong, particularly energy infrastructure and data centres.

Billington said the current order book gives them confidence to deliver full-year 2026 in line with market expectations, despite continued pressure on margins across the wider market.

It added that it was also seeing a strong flow of follow-on opportunities, especially in energy-from-waste, low-carbon power and further data centre work for delivery later in 2026 and 2027.

Chief executive Mark Smith said: “These contract wins announced today, across a broad range of sectors, underline both the strength of Billington’s market position and the quality of opportunities we are securing.

“The current order book underpins our confidence in delivering FY26 in line with market expectations.

“While we remain mindful of the broader global geopolitical backdrop, it is encouraging to see an improving volume of work being secured in a market where margin pressure remains.

“Operationally, resources have now been transferred to our Barnsley facilities following the closure of our Yate factory and we continue to increase capacity at these facilities to support future growth.”
