The Harrow-based contractor increased turnover 12% to £183m in the year to 30 September 2025 while pre-tax profit climbed 23% to £6.8m.
Directors said the result reflected a continued focus on disciplined tendering, standardised processes and tighter governance controls that protected profitability despite ongoing pricing pressure across the industry.
Growth was spread across the group’s six divisions covering groundworks and concrete frames, rail and infrastructure, data centres, M&E, utilities and fire protection services.
The business also continued to expand its European operation, generating £22.2m of revenue overseas compared with £16.4m the previous year.
Cash remained strong at £12.2m. The group also retained full headroom on its £6.75m revolving credit facility, which remained undrawn throughout the year.
J Coffey said its forward order book and project pipeline remained strong as it continued to target growth in infrastructure, data centres and structural alterations to broaden its revenue base.
