The contractor will carry out the retained façade redevelopment of Holden House on the corner of Oxford Street and Rathbone Place, creating 135,000 sq ft of commercial space opposite Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth line station.

The eight-storey scheme will provide 115,000 sq ft of Grade A offices alongside 20,000 sq ft of retail space fronting Oxford Street.

The appointment follows Kier’s completion earlier this year of Derwent London’s nearby Network W1 development, strengthening the contractor’s position in London’s commercial office market.

To protect the Grade II listed façade, Kier will use a precast façade system as part of its modern methods of construction strategy, combining off-site manufacture.

Superstructure construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2027 ahead of completion in 2028.
