This is a great opportunity to play a key role in our highly experienced project delivery team delivering the iconic redevelopment of London Olympia.
The work to create Future Olympia includes the redevelopment of the existing listed exhibition halls – the Grand Hall and the National Hall – and the creation of new offices, a four-screen cinema, a 4,000-seat music venue, a 1,500-seat theatre, two new hotels, new retail outlets and public realm space. All of this will be delivered while allowing the exhibition areas to remain operational and revenue-generating.

What do we look for?
- Contribute to the achievement of Laing O'Rourke safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences.
- The Section Manager will be accountable for an area on site and all trades on that floor, for example, Dry lining (Walls and ceilings), M&E coordination with build trades, Flooring: Either screeds or raised floors, Fire stopping and Joinery.
- To deliver section packages of the project to the client within time, cost, quality, safety, and corporate responsibility parameters.
- Programme ownership and delivery against the weekly outputs, including daily tracking.
- Responsible for the subcontractor’s performance for all elements prior to starting on-site.
- To work with the planning team to develop detailed and accurate short-term programmes of work.
- To implement, measure and report on our Environmental Management Plan.
- To continually revise the site induction and give daily presentations.
- To Manage the budget and delivery of the section of the project.
- To Plan the resource requirements and communicate these to the construction team.
- Contribute to the contract review process.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- HSE management – responsibilities, systems, processes, communicating and enthusing others.
- Project Delivery – scope, timescales, cost, and client needs.
- Project handover – driving standards, deadlines, problem-solving, and resource planning.
- Commercial awareness and strong leadership skills.
- Some experience in Fit-Out is desirable.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
