Manslaughter plumber appears in court Aaron Morby 14 years ago Share Twitter LinkedIn Facebook A plumber has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a young woman who died of carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty boiler. The Croydon plumbing firm Malden Plumbing and Heating he worked for has been charged with breaching Health and Safety laws. Paul Williamson, 51, of Chaucer Gardens, Sutton, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court last Friday. He is charged with the manslaughter of 26-year-old Elouise Littlewood, and breaching gas safety regulations when he carried out work at the flat in the London borough of Hounslow in February 2008. She shared ownership of the new flat with the Notting Hill housing association. Mr Williamson is also charged with the unlawful wounding of Ms Littlewood’s lodger, Simon Kilby, who was found unconscious and is in a permanent nonresponsive state. The case was adjourned until 6 September this year.
