Under the agreement Speedy will be Carillion’s first choice to supply plant and equipment (safety and operator) training on a nationwide basis.

Training will be delivered from a nationwide network of over 100 locations and directly on Carillion sites.

A dedicated bookings desk has been created within Speedy to provide Carillion with a single point of contact for course bookings, administration, certification and delegate management information.

Angela Turner, head of external training at Speedy added: “Our commitment to customer satisfaction has enabled us build a training operation that adds value to the core Speedy customer base.”

Speedy’s training offering can deliver a portfolio of over 200 core operator and manager courses.

It also works in partnership with its customers to develop and deliver bespoke courses to meet the customers’ specific requirements.
