The latest phase designed by architect Make will cover 14 acres surrounding Brent Civic Centre to the west of Olympic Way and includes plans for 1,300 homes located around a new community park.
Planning approval will be sought shortly for a total development of up to 160,000 sq m includes new shops, hotel space, student accommodation and affordable workspace.
The new plans around the Civic Centre adds to the existing consents at Wembley City, where development is already well underway.
Wembley Arena has been fully renovated and Arena Square opened and other building work on site is also well advanced.
By September 2013, Quintain will finished the Hilton International Hotel, delivered the new student accommodation, completed the nine screen cinema and opened a major new retail core including a designer outlet centre.
Nick Shattock, Quintain’s deputy chief executive, said: “The regeneration of Wembley City is already well underway with the first 520 homes completed, Wembley Arena and Arena Square open, pre-construction work underway on the Hilton Hotel and student accommodation.
He added that work was due to start shortly on London’s first Designer Outlet Centre alongside a new cinema.
“Our plans respond to the development of the new Brent Civic Centre to create a new neighbourhood, set around a community park with homes, shops, workspace, bars and restaurants, opening up the area for everyone to enjoy”
