The Perth-based contractor is now in the hands of receivers Henderson Loggie who are assessing the company’s position.
A statement from the accountants said: “Trading had effectively ceased prior to the appointment of the receivers.
“There are in the region of 150 employees, the majority of which are unfortunately being made redundant. We are currently assessing the position of the company.
“We believe the failure can be attributed to the general downturn in the construction industry which has led to lower margins on some contracts.
“We are actively engaged in a number of areas to maximise potential return to creditors, our main focus today has been to assist the employees.”
