The company plans to roll out the first wave in Stockton-on-Tees, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Scarborough. Subject to planning permission it estimates this will cost £23m over the next two years.
Another five Grovesnor Casinos would be rolled out at a later date, adding to the group’s current estate of 35 casinos and 103 bingo halls, a spokesman said.
The group is believed to be seeking sites in Birkenhead, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Reading and Southend-on-Sea and has budgeted £30m for the expansion.
