The refurbishment giant is hosting a series of supply chain events across the UK in a bid to attract new firms.
Apollo wants to work with local trade contractors and suppliers as it expands out from its original base in London and the South East to work on housing, education and public building work.
The first supply chain meeting has already been held in the Midlands with similar events planned in the South West, Scotland and Wales in September and October.
Meetings will then be organised across the whole of the UK following Apollo’s expansion across the country.
Suppliers and contractors will be invited to drop in and meet representatives of Apollo in their region to find out more about the company, to explore opportunities for working together, and, where appropriate, to sign up to the approved contractors’ list.
Dan Germann, Apollo’s Regional Director in the Midlands, said: “As we develop our business in a new region, it is essential that we tap into the local labour and skills pool, as well as sourcing local suppliers.
“This not only bolsters our ability to operate effectively in the region, but, importantly, allows us to help reinforce the strength of the local pound.”
The Scotland event will be on 2 September at the Holiday Inn Express, Glasgow Airport.
The Wales event will be on 14 September at Holiday Inn Express in Newport.
The South West event is on 8 October at Holiday Inn Express in Bristol Parkway Business Park, Bristol.
