The association expects to select up to eight firms for the new build and repairs framework deal, which is scheduled to start next February.
The deal’s value of £250m – £400m is based on present spending plans and may increase substantially if other associations decide to use the agreement.
Firms are expected to come with a track record in the affordable sector and experience building to Sustainable Homes level 4.
PQQs need to be returned by 1 September.
Meanwhile, L&Q has appointed architect Conran & Partners for the redevelopment of Walthamstow’s iconic greyhound stadium in north London.
The 3.28 hectare site contains two listed structures, the 1930s art-deco building and the dog kennels at the rear of the site.
Around 300 homes will be built on the site, including homes for outright sale, family sized homes and affordable homes for rent.
