Current DG Robson owner Danny Robson and his fellow executive directors Clive Carr, Richard Exell and Andy Sofroniou will remain with the business for a minimum of three years following the acquisition.
T Clarke will also pay out a £775,000 cash bonus to the owners if earnings targets are met during the next two years.
DG Robson is a specialist mechanical services and public health contractor based in Brentwood which employs 80 staff and operatives.
For the year ended 31 March 2010, the firm reported revenues of £7.7m and a pre-tax profit of £1.3m.
T Clarke has worked with DG Robson on a number of schemes including the Westfield London retail development and the refurbishment of the media and broadcasting centre for Associated Press.
The acquisition will enable T Clarke to address its clients changing needs and position the group for new opportunities requiring a “complete M&E solution.”
DG Robson’s recent and current projects include Stansted Airport Extension,Associated Press, Kelmscott School, North Middlesex Hospital,Royal London Hospital and the Rolls Building.
The firm is also carrying-out the multi service pipe work installation for the Shard development at London Bridge.
