Trade body NSCC is the latest organisation to sign-up with Creditlook which highlights late payers on its website.

Member companies can use the service to check the trading history of clients and swap information with fellow subbies about bad payment practices.

Creditlook is one of a range of new services being offered to NSCC members as it embarks on a new membership drive.

Other services include checks on prospective employees from Capita Recruitment Vetting Service and credit referencing services from Checkit

NSCC Chief Executive Suzannah Nichol said: “The start of a new membership year is always an exciting time and that is particularly true this year with even more services on offer for 2010/11.

“All businesses can benefit from the practical support provided by their trade association and over the next year we will be working hard to support our members so that they can deliver quality, best value and integrated solutions to their clients.”
