The pared down schools project is understood to be worth around £60m over the course of the deal.
The original deal to improve secondary school education in the county was said to be worth £600m.
Financing has been arranged by BAM PPP, which is also providing an £8m equity investment, with BAM’s fm arm working on the 25-year operating concession.
Construction work will start shortly on the 1,050-pupil Chilton Trinity Technology College; the 900-pupil Robert Blake Science College; and the 60-pupil Elmwood School, which will be co-located with Robert Blake Science College.
