They are the first Volvo products purchased by the groundworks and plant hire contractor.
“Up until now we tended to hire in this size of machine which was invariably a Volvo, so we already had a feel for the Volvo product,” said Advance Construction’s plant manager Gareth Mollan.
“Based on the reputation Volvo has for quality and reliability and endorsing this with other third party references, we decided to make the investment and purchase the machines.”
The firm has grown rapidly since being founded in 1995 and offers a complete package of labour, plant across Scotland.
Specific services include; bulk earthworks; drainage, road construction, utilities and hard and soft landscaping.
