I love the Irons but we are a one man team. Scott Parker deserves better around him and I fear Blackpool manager Ian Holloway can outfox the tactical genius that is Avram Grant.

Grant is like Sven Goran Eriksson without the charisma. How on earth he runs a football team I don’t know. But at least he’s got his wit and charm to fall back on in interviews.

Grant is the one man on the planet who still thinks Radoslav Kovac is a footballer. I hung up my boots ten years ago from the Essex Business Houses League but I’m sure I could still do  a better job in “midfield” than him.

I’ll be there Saturday cheering on the Irons but my head says tuck in to Blackpool and it might be the day that Avram finally gets the boot. At least then he’ll have something to look miserable about.

Outside of east London the next best bet comes in the boxing ring. Jump all over the 5/2 available about David Haye to beat Audley Harrison in the first three rounds.

Haye is a boxer. Harrison isn’t – it’s as simple as that so KO the bookies and wonder why you spent all that money on three minutes of public sparring.
