The purpose of the scheme is to collect storm overflows from Irvine town centre and transfer them to Meadowhead waste water treatment works.
Meanwhile in Belfast, Galliford Try has also been awarded a £20m contract for a major regeneration scheme in the east of the city, which will be carried out in joint venture with SIAC (NI).
Led by the East Belfast Partnership, the scheme will establish a linear park along the Connswater, Knock and Loop rivers.The programme is due for completion in summer 2013.
And, finally, has scooped a £9m contract to upgrade security at 29 powered signal boxes for by Network Rail throughout the UK.
