The £21m turnover firm, based in Halesowen, was placed in the hands of the receivers just before Christmas and all 65 staff were laid off before the holiday period.
The firm, which had expanded into the London fit-out market, is understood to have run into problems on a contract for the London School of Economics, which worsened already severe cash flow difficulties.
Chris Moore of Walsall-based insolvency practitioners K. J. Watkin & Co is handling the administration.
The firm operated from four divisions specialising in interior fit-out and refurbishment, motor-trade fit-out, new build and furniture solutions through its M-cubed arm.
