Administrators from the P&A Partnership confirmed to the BBC that the North Killingholme contractor’s workforce has been laid off.
Administrator John Russell said: “Unfortunately, the company suffered from the downturn in the construction sector and the bad weather before Christmas compounded the company’s financial difficulties.
“We have been on site assisting staff with claim forms for redundancy payments and other entitlements.”
Clark worked for a mixture of public sector and private clients and was working on a number of contracts for North East Lincolnshire and Hull County Council when it went under.
Clark had been trading since 1979.
The company’s website states: “Clark Construction has a history of commitment, co-operation and non adversarial contracting.
“By working together and maintaining client relationships we have developed a reputation for delivering successful projects, which has generated a large amount of repeat business.”
