The concrete frame Mercantile House building was constructed in the seventies and the university hopes to refit the building to create around 120 student apartments.
The university is seeking expressions of interest from firms experienced in developing and managing student residential accommodation wishing to be considered to work with the University to redevelop the vacant floors as student accommodation.
Interested firmes have until 4 April to prequalify and can obtain more details from Douglas Fenton at the University of Portsmouth, email [email protected]
